This mini-book is a repository of UML-based* models used to develop the agent-based simulation of the LocalFoodEconomyGame.com exploratory learning environment.
Logical views are meant for fast and easy, high-level understanding. They are suggestive of an implementation. But logical views generally do not have sufficient detail to guide software design and development.
* UML is the acronym for Unified Modeling Language. UML is a specification for a large (and growing) collection of model types along with specification of their logical and graphical representation. UML mocels are used (mostly) by business and research analysts together with software designers and developers. By having a standardized collection of models, analysts, designers, and programmers can effectively communicate throughout the software analysis, design and development process.
